Two-Hour Radius



Take Some Vacation Time in Northern California with Your Visit to Convergence.

Here are some ideas within a two-hour driving radius of Radio Ink's Conference conference.

Silicon Valley: Home to Apple, Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Twitter, Oracle. The towns of Palo Alto, San Jose, and Los Gatos offer loads of tourism opportunities, great shopping, and beautiful scenery. Explore the quaint beach community of Half Moon Bay a well-kept secret most outsiders are not aware of, and drive through Big Basin Redwoods State park en route. Don't miss Victorian mansion the Winchester Mystery House.

San Francisco (45 minutes): The number two tourism spot in America, behind only New York.
The Golden Gate Bridge and Golden Gate National Recreation Area
Chinatown

Alcatraz: Tour this historic island, which housed a Civil War fort and a became a famous prison.

Muir Woods and the Giant Redwoods (90 minutes): See the oldest and biggest trees in America in this spectacular park.

Carmel and Monterey (90 Minutes): By the crashing waves of the Pacific, Carmel-by-the-Sea is a quaint arts community with more than 200 art galleries. Monterey, a fishing village, has loads of shopping, galleries, and a boardwalk. Or check out the beach in the bohemian community of Santa Cruz.

Wine Country (2 hours): Napa Valley and Sonoma are home to the best wines in the world, with hundreds of wineries to visit and some of the most spectacular beauty, with the rolling vineyards surrounded by beautiful mountains. Sample your favorite wines, and be sure to take the wine train.
