Cumulus has closed on its previously announced offering of $610 million aggregate principal amount of 7.75% senior notes due 2019 in a private offering. As a part of the refinancing transactions in connection with the pending acquisitions of Cumulus Media Partners and Citadel, Cumulus is using the net proceeds from the Notes to repay in full all amounts outstanding under the term loan facility under the company's existing senior secured credit facilities and pay fees and expenses related to the offering of Notes. Any remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes. |

Last week we critiqued a total of 22 different radio presentations from 22 radio account executives who were asked to send us their best presentation or one-sheet. It saddened me to note that only one of the twenty-two alluded to what they were going to do for the client. The rest may have well been titled "All About Me" or "All About My Station". |

Perhaps the example of what took place in Tyler Texas last night is a great example of why radio stations across America should get behind the push to have FM chips installed in cell phones. Public safety is one of the reasons the NAB is making a push to install the chips.
