The largest Fisher shareholder will vote for three candidates put forth by hedge fund FrontFour in the latest twist between the two sides. Investor Mario Gabelli owns 28.5 percent of Fisher shares. Gabelli will exercise cumulative voting rights in favor of three of the four nominees proposed by FrontFour. FrontFour founder David Lorber is already part of the 9-member board. The board election is May 11th. |

According to the FCC Mattoon Broadcasting's WLBH-AM and WLBH-FM in Illinois, failed to enclose Station WLBH's towers within effective locked fences or other enclosures and failed to maintain a management and staff presence at the main studio. An inspector could not get into the station for two straight days. Here are the details. |

The $1.2 million, or 5.5% increase in net revenue during the three months ended March 31, 2011, compared with the same period in 2010 reflects net revenue increases at nine of the Company's eleven market clusters. On a same-station basis, consolidated net revenue rose 6.0% in the 2011 first quarter to $23.1 million from $21.7 million in the first quarter of 2010. |

The Cox Media Group Radio Stations in Birmingham, Alabama banded together to collect supplies from their listeners and donate those items to the people hit by the April 2011 tornadoes that blew through the state. The group produced this video which shows a lot of the damage and how the community is coming together to rebuild. |

Today from 6AM to 7PM the Cumulus stations in Nashville will be collecting items for tornado relief. From flashlights to baby wipes to pet food, the stations located at 10 Music Circle East will be the drop-off location for listeners. All the items collected will help supplement the disaster relief that is already in place and will be delivered courtesy of R&D Trucking in Indian Mound, Tenn. and Woodlawn Paparock Travel Center in Clarksville, Ky. Everything will be delivered to Huntsville, Alabama. |

Radio One released a statement Tuesday revising their preliminary results from April 18th. For the quarter ended March 31, 2011, the company anticipates net revenue of approximately $65.0 million, an increase of $6.0 million from the same period in 2010. Back on April 18th, Radio One said Q1 net revenue would be $65.4 million, an increase of $6.4 million. The Company now anticipates Adjusted EBITDA of approximately $9.9 million to $10.9 million. Back on April 18th, Radio One said adjusted EBITDA would be approximately $9.2 million to $10.2 million. |

San Francisco's KNBR-1050 AM will be the new flagship radio partner for Stanford football and Men's basketball broadcasts beginning this fall. KNBR will carry all Cardinal football, men's basketball and 10 "Inside Stanford Sports" coaches' shows as part of a multi-year agreement with the Cardinal Sports Network. Cardinal Sports LLC, the locally based entity of collegiate multimedia rights leader Learfield Sports, manages all aspects of the broadcasts, as well as the Cardinal Sports Network. KTRB 860 AM was the former radio flagship. |
