Blue Sky Broadcasting in Spokane shared the sad news that K102 Country radio vet ?Big Dan Murphy? died from a sudden heart attack. He was 57. Dan McMahon was a long-time radio announcer in the Pacific Northwest area, from his early days in Walla Walla, WA where he was known at Wee Willie Winkle and in the Tri-Cities as Dancin? Dan Murphy. His public memorial service will be held this Saturday in Spokane.
