It's Apple's move into the Connected Car. The new system which will first be available through a software update, in Volvo, Mercedes-Benz and Ferrari this year, is just another way consumers will stay attached to that one device they are finding it impossible to live without, the smartphone. With help from Siri, CarPlay will read your text messages and allow you to respond and give you easier access to maps and music among other things. It will eventually be as easy as a button on the steering wheel of most automobiles. So far, Pandora is not part of the CarPlay integration in the DASH. Read more about CarPlay HERE and HERE
