WSJ: Citadel Rescinds Stock Grants For Suleman, Others

In the face of a lawsuit over stock grants to top Citadel executives including CEO Farid Suleman, the company has agreed to rescind the stock awards, the Wall Street Journal reports. A company spokesman told the paper stock options will be issued instead.

Tribune Creditors Sue; More Execs Out

A group of Tribune's unsecured creditors have sued Chairman Sam Zell, former CEO Dennis FitzSimons, and others, alleging fraud in the 2007 buyout that left the company deeply in debt. Tribune filed for Chapter 11 a year after the buyout. Additionally, more executives exit in the wake of the October 22 resignation of Tribune CEO Randy Michaels, and Tribune Interactive is renamed Tribune Digital.

Fisher Revenue Rises In Q3

Seattle's Fisher Communications reports revenue of $42.2 million for the third quarter, up 22 percent from the same period a year ago. Radio revenue also rose double digits, up 10 percent, to $6.5 million.

Clear Channel's WBGG is set to become ESPN Radio 970 as of January 1, combining ESPN's lineup with local shows. WBGG is currently a Fox Sports affiliate. ESPN has been heard on crosstown WEAE.
