Elvis Goes Digital

Always the trendsetter, Elvis Duran is at it again. Wanting to extend his brand to every corner of the broadcast world, Duran is going digital. Kathleen Heaney is the new boss at ElvisDuran.com. She arrives via the magazine business where she oversaw digital for Morris Visitor Publications in New York City, a monthly New York City tourism publication. At Rutgers Heaney was the fashion editor at the school paper before she picked up her Political Science degree on her way to the real world. Duran says when he first met Heaney he was speechless due to her enthusiasm, creativity and digital knowledge. Imagine that, a morning man speechless. She must be good.

Heaney is already developing a video channel for Duran's dot-com. It'll feature exclusive content from his morning show. She's also developing a daily fan newsletter. And, she's now responsible for keeping the site fresh with entertainment and pop culture news, creating and managing the site?s online store of Elvis Duran branded products, and developing opportunities for fans through social media.
