A 3-way agreement has produced another option for radio stations to consistently freshen up their websites and generate additional digital revenue. And while you won't see former radio execs David Pearlman and Bill Pasha writing stories about Lady Gaga's latest shenanigan or why Gavin Degraw can't defend himself they have inked a deal with Cover Media. Cover Media has a full staff of full-time journalists that focus on creating lifestyle web content around the world. They are already a household name in Europe and Asia. Pearlman and Pasha, via their new multi-faceted consulting company MultiBrand Media International, have inked the rights to the Cover Media content here in the states and they are using Dial-Global to distribute.
Last week ABC announced it had developed a turn-key system for stations to deliver fresh news and entertainment content to stations. And this MBMI announcement focuses on lifestyle, entertainment, fashion and celebrity content. It's updated 24 hours a day and available to stations on a barter basis. Cover Media has opened a bureau in Los Angeles in addition to others around the world and its main bureau in London. The content is also delivered in 5 languages. Next week Dial-Global will have an example website up so stations can see exactly what the content is and how it can be seamlessly integrated into your station websites.
