After a long battle with Parkinson?s Disease Mr. Zingale succumbed to the illness yesterday, aged 82. He had been a partner in the company that founded WIXY 1260 and WDOK (Stereo 102) in Cleveland and later, after the sale of the two stations, he bought into WWWE-AM and WWWM-FM in Cleveland with Nick Mileti (the original owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers) and Tom and Jim Embrescia. He left the radio business in the early 80s.
Mr. Zingale is survived by his wife Mary Jo, as well as four children and several grandchildren.
