LDR Interactive announced the addition of industry veterans Dana Hall (pictured) and Hank McMonigle to its TopicPulse leadership team. McMonigle becomes Vice President, Sales, and Hall joins as Support and Client Services Manager. McMonigle and Hall will lead client development and service for TopicPulse, LDR Interactive's real-time social media monitoring system for local newsrooms and content producers.
TopicPulse scans social media including Twitter and Facebook, blogs, comment/message boards, and news sources to track trending topics in a local market. Through a dashboard, stations access trending video and images and identify the primary demo (gender and age group) most engaged with a topic on social media.
McMonigle, a 30-year broadcasting veteran, was most recently Vice President/General Manager at NextMedia Group in Dallas. Hall is a veteran broadcast and music industry journalist. In her years as a writer, she covered such formats as Urban, Hip-Hop, Gospel, Rhythmic, and Top 40 for Radio & Records, Billboard Airplay Monitor, and Radio-Info.com.
