Rush To Fellow Talk Hosts: 'Hold Your Heads High'

In his opening monologue Monday morning, Rush Limbaugh responded to accusations made by some that Talk radio may have influenced the accused Tucson shooter, saying, "To take an incident like this and try to turn it into political advantage" is "beneath contempt." Limbaugh said, "I say this to all the people who do what I do: Hold your heads high, and turn this back on the media and the Democrats."

NYT: Hosts Defend Talk Radio

With some in the media and politics alleging that Talk radio had a role in the tragic shootings in Tucson, the New York Times cites talk personalities in Tucson and elsewhere saying there is no evidence of any correlation.

Entravision Communications has acquired the remaining 50 percent interest in Lotus Entravision Reps from Lotus Communications. LER, which represents more than 150 Spanish-language radio stations, becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Entravision.
