Fisher Rejects Buyout Offer

Canada's Huntingdon Real Estate Investment Trust has gone public with an offer it made last month to buy out Seattle-based Fisher Communications after Fisher turned down the offer. Huntingdon says it "must make the terms of is proposal public so that Fisher shareholders can make their own assessment of the sufficiency of our proposal."

Insurance giant Geico was radio's leading national advertiser in 2010, reports Media Monitors. Geico put 2.3 million spots on the air last year. Home Depot came in second, with 1.96 million.
