Today Clear Channel will use all 850 radio stations to make an announcement regarding music event in September that is tied to the release of a new version of the company's iheartradio app. And, despite what you may have read this morning, the app will not be released today. It is still in beta. Radio Ink has an exclusive interview with Clear Channel CEO John Hogan which will be posted this morning. Both Hogan and Bob Pittman have told Radio Ink the new iheartradio app will not be ready until the fall. That remains the plan.
