The U.S. won the game after eight rounds of a shootout between the two teams who have a hockey history dating back to the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid. T.J. Oshie (pictured) of the St. Louis Blues scored four times in the shootout and got the winner in the eighth round.
