CBS RADIO Names Brian McHale SVP, Information Technology.  The senior vice president, information technology is a newly created position for CBS RADIO.  In this role, Brian McHale will be responsible for building and overseeing the company's first dedicated information technology team, along with effectivemchalebrian technological strategies and infrastructure to support CBS RADIO's 117 radio stations, digital assets, and the security solutions to protect the company's multi-platform products.  He'll also build a structure to support the IT needs of the company's employees at both the enterprise and local market levels.  CBS RADIO president Andre Fernandez says, "In today's hyper-digital world, the flow, security and enhancement of information technology is the backbone of any company.  Brian has vast experience with developing and implementing world-class IT infrastructures and will lead CBS RADIO to create a superior system that supports every function of our business."  McHale was most recently SVP and chief information officer for American Apparel Inc.  He's also worked with Journal Broadcast Group and Fisher Communications during his career.
New PDs Named at Alpha Media Myrtle Beach.  With the exit of BJ Kinard from the operations manager and program director position at Alpha Media's Myrtle Beach, South Carolina station group, come new PD appointments.  Ron "Crash" Kissell is promoted from his music director role at alternative WKZQ to program director of the station.  For sister CHR WMYB "Energy 92.1," Chris "Zack" O'Donnell is upped to PD.
