Tracy Herbster Named iHeartMedia Portland’s Digital Program Director

Tracy Herbster Named iHeartMedia Portland's Digital Program Director.  On Friday, we reported that iHeartMedia promoted Tim Herbster to SVP of programming for the Pacific Northwest.  At the same time as that promotion, Tim's wife Tracy Herbster was named digital program director for the company's Portlandherbstertracy station group where she'll oversee digital strategy for the nine radio brands, including "Z100" Portland, "JAM'N 107.5," "K103," "106.7 The Eagle," "105.9 The Brew," "1190 KEX News Radio," "Rip City Radio 620," "Radio 102.3" and "Tailgate Country 103.7."  The company says Herbster and her team will work closely with the programming and sales departments to "deliver key messages on digital platforms, including station websites, mobile and social media."  She'll also work with the National Content Development and Distribution team to "help iHeartMedia's local digital programmers identify best practices, promote key social strategies and share the most effective audience development tactics across iHeartMedia's over 150 local markets."  Tracy Herbster was most recently director of social strategy and content for iHeartRadio and "Most Requested Live with Romeo."  She will be based out of Portland.
wnow-indyBig Joe & Alex Take Over Mornings on WNOW, Indy.  Next Monday, "The Big Joe & Alex Show" takes over morning drive on Radio One's CHR WNOW, Indianapolis "Radio Now 100.9."  Joe Piesz, a.k.a. Big Joe, was most recently with Midwest Communications' CHR WSTO, Evansville, Indiana and Alex Clark comes to Indy from Alpha Media's CHR WDJX, Louisville.  Serving as producer for the new program will be Producer Myk, most recently serving with Alpha Media's KBFF, Portland.  Program director Brandon "Buster" Satterfield comments, "The personality and energy this cast brings to the table will be unmatched in morning drive, Big Joe and Alex have an infectious, relatable style that won't go unnoticed.  We have high expectations for this show because it's evident what they're capable of."

WUBG, Indy Flips to Rhythmic CHR.  At 12:00 noon today (10/3), iHeartMedia is flipping the currently stunting/former country WUBG, Indianapolis "BIG 98.3" to rhythmic CHR.  All weekend, the station's been airing a loop stating, "change is coming to Indianapolis."
