Radio One net revenue declined from $62.3 million in Q2 of 2010 to $60.1 million in Q2 this year. The company says says Baltimore, Columbus, Dallas and Houston posted the most significant declines. Radio One's Barry Mayo told investors "the biggest problem is in Houston" where he says Radio One is dealing with rates being dropped significantly by competitors. He says the same is happening in Baltimore and by two competitors in that market. In Dallas Mayo said "we helped mess that station up but by the end of the year we expect to see the gap in Dallas largely closed."
