Smith has been VP of Programming for Emmis, where he oversaw the No. 1 and No. 2 stations in New York, HOT 97 and WRKS-FM under Rick Cummings. Additionally, he was VP of Programming for AMFM with Steve Rivers and was a senior VP of Programming at Clear Channel. In this role, Smith, who reports directly to Group Vice President Ben Reed, will provide CMG executives with strategic counsel on all radio programming for CMG?s 85 top-rated radio stations nationwide.
