Cumulus owns this one as well and McIntyre also begins January 3rd. His show will be called ?McIntyre in the Morning? and run from 5am to 9am in L.A. McIntyre replaces the Peter Tilden Morning Show. This will be McIntyre's second run as morning host at KABC. About his return McIntyre said ?I?m excited to return to the morning drive with leading radio station, KABC. I look forward to keeping my audience informed and entertained as they wake up with me each morning.?
Multiple Golden Mic award winner Terri-Rae Elmer will be joining the program handling local news as well as co-hosting duties. For the past 28 years, Ms. Elmer, known as ?T-Rae? in the industry, worked as a news announcer at Crosstown KFI. L.A. Market Manager Marko Radlovic said, "having Doug return to morning drive on KABC gives our listeners a dynamic and credible show to start their days. And having veteran Terri-Rae join the KABC team and morning drive is a huge advantage to the show.?
