Red Zebra makes a two-year deal to carry sports programming from Dial Global on WTEM (ESPN980) in DC. The agreement includes March Madness, Dial Global's NFL package, NFL playoffs and the Super Bowl, golf's majors, and the Olympics, among other programming.
Red Zebra VP/Programming Chuck Sapienza said, "We could not be more pleased with the
relationship and all the great programming Dial Global brings to our listeners. When you team the Redskins Radio Network with Dial Global's NFL Package, NFL fans in DC will receive extensive, exclusive coverage of the National Football League on ESPN980."
WTEM simulcasts on WWXT-FM at 92.7 and Virginia-based WWXX-FM at 94.3.
