Brazos communications is the buyer where Tommy Vascocu is a general partner of the company. The sale includes KHKX-FM, KMCM-FM and KQRX-FM. Townsquare CEO Steven Price (pictured) says, "The sale of our stations in Odessa-Midland emanates from an ongoing strategic review of our portfolio of assets. We remain committed to the radio broadcasting business in Texas where we will continue to own 48 stations in ten Texas markets." The sale needs to be approved by the FCC and it's expected to close in the second half of 2012.
