Thanks to Fayetteville, North Carolina, Beasley's net revenue increased 1.1% in the first quarter of 2012. National advertising has been the big drag. According to Caroline Beasley, who led the Beasley conference call Friday, overall national advertising in Philadelphia alone was down over 30% compared to 2011 which was no banner year for radio. She also said national was down over 7% in all Beasley markets.
