Channel 2 in Nashville is reporting that one of the city's most popular DJ's is out at 105.9 The Rock. The station is calling it a a reduction in their workforce. Joe King, know on the air as "Joe Elvis" has been on the air at the station for over 20 years. "I'm very appreciative to Clear Channel. I've raised my boys working there and I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has listened for those past 23 years. Nashville has always rocked and that was always fun for me being in a country town playing great rock-and-roll, so that was kind of the fun edge of my job for me," he told Nashville's News 2.
