ESPN Dallas And Mavs Extend Five Years

8-13-13

ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM and the Dallas Mavericks have reached a five-year extension of their radio play-by-play agreement. ESPN Dallas 103.3 debuted in April 2001 and has broadcast Mavs games since that fall; the station and team will now be together through the 2017-18 season. Maverick?s owner Mark Cuban said, ?There is no better radio network for the Dallas Mavericks than ESPN Dallas. They have been our home for 12 seasons and our fans know where to find the Mavs on the radio. We are thrilled to be with ESPN Dallas for many more seasons to come.?

The new agreement calls for a continuation of the Rick Carlisle show as well as a player show to air on ESPN Dallas 103.3. It will also see the continuation of the annual Mavstoberfest event that allows up to 1,000 ESPN Dallas and Dallas Mavericks winners to a free autograph signing with the entire team, as well as a free open-to-the-public scrimmage. Radio commentators will continue to be Chuck Cooperstein, on play-by-play, alongside veteran color analyst and Dallas Mavericks legend Brad Davis.
