Cumulus' WABC in New York City says John Batchelor is launching Author Series, a video series featuring long-form interviews with authors. Batchelor said, ?I used to be an author, and I enjoy the enthusiasm of hearing in depth of a new book, well told by the person who survived the research, the writing, and the publishing. It?s fun for me to learn the stories of the making of the stories.?
The series launches with an interview with Thomas Cahill the author of Heretics and Heroes. Future episodes include: Robert Klara, author of FDR?s Funeral Train; Eri Hotta, author of Japan 1941: Countdown to Infamy, and George H. Nash, author of The Crusade Years 1933-1955. New episodes of John Batchelor's Author Series will debut weekly on wabcradio.com.
