The 2014 John F. Hogan Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes an individual's contributions to the journalism profession and freedom of the press will be awarded to longtime CBS Radio News Vice President Harvey Nagler. RTDNA Executive Director of RTDNA Mike Cavender said, ?We?re proud to honor one of the driving forces behind radio news in America. Harvey Nagler is a champion of quality broadcast journalism.? The award will be presented Friday, September 5, at the Excellence in Journalism 2014 national convention, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville.
