The battles between Casey Kasem's wife and his children have been well documented over the past year. Now it appears Jean Kasem may have taken the former radio star out of the country. A judge has even ordered an investigation to find out where the 82 year old former "American Top 40" host is. Kasem has advanced Parkinson's disease and can no longer speak. L.A. Superior Court Judge Daniel Murphy's order came after Jean Kasem's attorney Craig Marcus said he did not know where the radio personality was but knew that he had been removed from the country.
Kasem's children have complained they've been unable to see their father in accordance with an agreement with their stepmother. Daughter Kerri Kasem was appointed her father's temporary caretaker Monday. According to Fox News, her attorney, Troy Martin, said the family believes the entertainer has been taken to an Indian reservation in Washington state. Kerri Kasem will now have access to her father's medical records and other reports that were sealed by court order.
