Cumulus Media has announced that Scott Lindy has been named as Program Director for Country-formatted WFMS/Indianapolis. Lindy most recently served as Director of Operations/Program Director for Lincoln Financial Media in Atlanta. Prior to that, Lindy was Operations Manager and/or Program Director for stations and clusters in Atlanta, Baltimore, Richmond, and for SiriusXM. Lindy replaces Mark Hamlin, who exited earlier in April after four years in that role.
Cumulus SVP of Content and Programming Mike McVay said: "Scott and I have worked together and competed against one another. I am happy that this time we'll be working together. It's much easier than competing with him. We're excited to have him join us in Indianapolis at the legendary WFMS."
