In a memo to Clear Channel Communications staffers, CEO Mark Mays praises the company's sales team, saying, "They're hot, just like our media, and they're getting hotter." He goes on to talk about what CC is doing to grab a "higher percentage of the advertising pie" for radio and outdoor.

Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) has filed a new version of controversial campaign-finance bill the DISCLOSE Act that makes several key changes to the House version, including an exemption for radio from a requirement that businesses and groups state their geographic locations in ads.
