Beck Starts GBTV Today.

The first episode of Glenn Beck's Internet only program airs today on GBTV. Beck now has approximately 230,000 paid subscribers to GBTV an increase from 80,000 when he announced the network would be launching back in June. While on the Fox television network Beck had approximately 2.2 million viewers. The price for Beck's Internet only network is $9.95 per month. GBTV is on track to take in more than $20 million in revenue in its debut year, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

The network's programming includes a reality show about the making of GBTV and a program anchored by Mr. Beck's co-hosts from his nationally syndicated radio show, which draws 10 million weekly listeners. A block of children's programming is slated to start later this month.
