Hogan Goes to Work Creating His Dream Team

Clear Channel has made several changes to the sales side of the company, including announcing the departure of Charlie Rahilly. Rahilly was the President/National Ad Platforms. CCM & E Chairman/CEO radio CEO John Hogan said  "Charlie has been a valuable leader for Clear Channel for more than 20 years, and he as contributed much to our success. He's told us he's eager to begin a new, entrepreneurial chapter in his career. We're grateful for his leadership and many contributions, and wish him the best in his new endeavors"

The company also says it has created new, unified marketing and sales group, designed to "more aggressively pursue national multi-platform marketing initiatives that meet advertisers' need to reach -- and engage -- consumers in powerful new ways." Tim Castelli is promoted to head up the new, integrated team, with the title of president of national sales, marketing, and partnerships. He moves up from EVP of digital sales,and in his new role oversees the Clear Channel National Platform divisions, including Digital, Strategic Partnerships, Clear Channel Connections, Clear Channel Radio sales, and Premiere Radio Networks sales. He reports to Hogan.

Castelli has also served in his career as SVP/sales for AOL's Eastern U..S. region and before that was technology industry director for Google. He was earlier publisher of Rolling Stone magazine.

Meanwhile, Holly Lang arrives at Clear Channel as SVP/marketing solutions, responsible for conceiving and implementing marketing programs for national advertisers. She was most recently in a senior executive post at Conde Nast, with responsibilities including integrated marketing efforts, business development, and e-commerce.

Chris Monteleone comes in from the post of VP/partner strategy for Madison Square Garden to join Clear Channel as SVP/event sponsorship sales and development. At MSG, Monteleone oversaw marketing partnerships including sponsorships, sales, TV media, digital platforms, and exclusive experiences around the NY Knicks, NY Rangers and MSG Entertainment asset.

Additionally, Kevin Dorsey moves up from president/traffic, navigation, and mobility to oversee Katz Media Group and Premiere Radio Networks affiliate sales as president of national media groups.
