Two Murrow Awards For Portland's KXL

Portland, Oregon?s KXL has won two RTDNA Edward R. Murrow Regional Awards. ?Washougal Death Standoff,? which featured Doug Carter on the scene throughout the day of December 7, 2011, took the Breaking News award. Meanwhile, ?Longshoreman Uprising 2011,? with Mike Turner providing several days of coverage when longshoremen shut down a grain terminal at Longview, Wash., last summer, took the Hard News award.
