That's what CultureMap is calling the firing of KUHA Houston's classical music personalities Bob Stevenson, Elaine Kennedy, Chris Johnson, and Chris Hathaway. CEO Lisa Trapani Shumate met with everyone herself and told them they were gone. They were all given a 30-day severance package. Apparently the firings were a result of poor fundraising. CultureMap says they were a "colossal failure." KUHA was $74,000 short of its $200,000 goal and KUHF could only pull in $800,000 of its $1 million goal.
