Clear Channel Shows Off Clout

Clear Channel took over NBC last night for the first-ever iHeartRadio Awards Show and by all accounts the event was a smashing success. USA Today said, the show, "delivered vibrant performances to the jeans-wearing, beer-sipping crowd at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium." Hollywood Life called it, "well-produced, absolutely packed with star power, and entertaining." And Clear Channel President of Entertainment Enterprises John Sykes told Variety, ?Clear Channel is the biggest music company in the world by reach, so for us to finally have a show where we celebrate and reward artists of the year that have really excelled ? it?s about time." The first-ever iHeart Radio Music Awards were broadcast live last night on NBC from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The show aired over 150 iHeart radio stations across the country, and 60 million votes were cast for several categories of this awards show. See more photos and videoes HERE.
