The Quad City Times reports KJOC has dumped Scott Shannon's True Oldies Channel for ESPN Radio. Townsquare Operations Manager Darren Pitra told the paper, "We looked at a variety of things, but the decision was to go with ESPN." The station carried Shannon's show for the past six years. Pitra said the station has the option to pick up any of the play-by-play that ESPN provides. There will be no local voices but Pitra says "it's not something that's completely out of possibility down the road."
