NJ.com and the New Jersey Star-Ledger are reporting that the attorney for famed WNEW New York DJ Dave Herman is claiming the police duped him into trying to transport a 7-year-old to the Virgin Islands for sex. Attorney Marc Agnifilo said his 77-year-old client plans to fight the federal charges, claiming he was duped by a female undercover officer who sent him her photograph online and made it clear ?the only way that he could meet her was to have this banter with her about the child. She was, in his estimation, reasonably attractive, and I think he was looking forward to meeting her and the way that the detective created this scenario, the only way to meet ? was to engage in this banter regarding the child.?
