Cox Media Group in Miami has named Felisha Monet its new afternoon driver at WEDR-FM 99 Jamz. Monet has been with Jamz for more than five years, most recently hosting the night show. She made her radio debut after moving to Tallahassee in 2001. A local DJ noticed her working at a mall job and thought her charismatic personality would be great for radio. She gave up her job selling sneakers for a gig at Tallahassee?s HOT 105.7. She later worked for WBWT 100.7 The Beat before joining the CMG Miami team on 99 Jamz.
