Desktop Shopping up 15% So Far

Yesterday comScore reported consumers spent $42.5 billion from their desktop computers during the first 44 days of the November-December holiday season. That figure is up 15 percent over the same time period one year ago. The week of December 8 was up 12%, reaching $8.6 billion. Smartphones sales made up 10% of the purchases last week, however, the total revenue gain was 107% over 2013. Mobile devices made up 43% of the traffic.
