A little over a year ago, after nine years with CBS Radio as senior VP of programming, Gregg Strassell joined iHeartRadio with that same title. Strassell, who has an impressive programming resume, was let go by iHeartMedia this week. He's a a multi-format programming veteran whose brand management has impacted many recognizeable major-market radio stations across the country. Before CBS, Strassell was VP of product development and programming for ARS. He also launched and programmed WBMX, WZLX, and WODS in Boston, WLOL in Minneapolis-St. Paul, and WROK/WZOK in Rockford.
