Howie Rose, who has been an announcer for New York Mets games on WOR-AM since 2004, is missing the team's current California road trip. On a flight to Los Angeles on Thursday, Rose passed out, causing the plane to divert to Detroit, where Carr was treated for dehydration at a local hospital. Carr will rejoin the team when they return to New York on July 10. WOR Mets pre-game/post-game host Wayne Randazzo fills-in for the recovering Rose.
