Wallis Communications announced it will take over WUFC-AM under an LMA with current licensee Blackstrap Broadcasting (pending FCC approval of a license transfer) and a format change is in the works for June 1. The station currently carries Yahoo Sports. That will change to a Talk Radio lineup featuring Glenn Beck, Jay Mohr, Alex Jones, and Dr. K. ?Where Liberty Has a Voice? will be the station?s new positioning statement. Wallis Communications CEO Kevin Wallis said, ?We are excited to move into Boston. We have made a huge name for ourselves in the Washington D.C. market with our takeover of WILC 900 AM."
