(By Laurie Kahn) As the U.S. economy has improved, hiring has picked up and unemployment is purportedly at its lowest point in some years. So how does that affect radio? First and foremost, while hiring continues to be difficult, it will get even harder to locate, hire, and retain talent, especially those highly successful sellers that are crucial to our bottom line. Many younger workers are looking for companies that offer top-of-the-line training, ability to grow faster than generations in the past, more flexibility, and tools to succeed both individually and in a group setting.
