Camino Lands Evening Seat at WTAM Cleveland

8-11-14

26-year old Nick Camino is the new evening voice at Newsradio WTAM-AM in Cleveland. He started his radio career at WTAM in 2006 as a part-time producer and board op and now fills the shift once occupied by great Cleveland broadcasters like Bob Frantz, Mike Trivisonno and Pete Franklin. In a wide-ranging interview, with Cleveland.com, about his career and talk radio, Camino says talk radio is not going anywhere. At least in my lifetime. It's such a unique avenue for people to have their say. I heard someone say one time, "as long as there are cars, there will be radio." I tend to agree with that. I don't think radio is going anywhere, especially talk radio, but it probably has to continue adapting with its new audience constantly."
