Mays To Step Down As Clear Channel CEO

Mark Mays has announced that he will relinquish his duties as CEO of Clear Channel Communications at the end of this year, but will remain the company's chairman. He said in a memo to Clear Channel staff, "Given the positive trends we are seeing, I am very optimistic about the future of Clear Channel. That's why I feel this is an opportune time for a new CEO to work with the management team in leading our terrific company forward."

FCC Meets With Top Tech Execs On 'Net Rules
