Clyburn Suggests Giving Channels 5, 6 To Radio

FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn told the National Federation of Community Broadcasters that it may be time to use the spectrum now dedicated to TV channels 5 and 6 for LPFM, expanded noncommercial educational radio, and AM broadcasters. She said she isn't suggesting an immediate change, but that it is time to take a "serious look" at whether it's time to reallocate.

NY Post: Apple Antitrust Investigation Coming?

The Federal Trade Commission is about to look at possible anti-competitive behavior surrounding Apple's policy of requiring developers to use only its own tools, the New York Post reports. Apple's recent change of policy that effectively blocks companies that compete with it in the mobile space -- like Google, which owns mobile ad platform AdMob -- from collecting user data to target ads may also be looked at.
