Car Talk Host Magliozzi Dies At 77

11-3-14

Tom Magliozzi (right) co-hosted the popular NPR program Car Talk with his brother Ray. They were known as "Click and Clack the Tappet Brothers." Magliozzi has died after complications from Alzheimer's Disease at the age of 77. The show began back in 1977 at WBUR in Boston. In 1987, the wise-cracking duo, who knew a lot about cars and delivered it with a hard Boston accent, took the show national. They retired in 2012, however the show has been heard in re-runs on NPR member stations since then. Read more HERE at the NPR website.
