Mark Haddon has been promoted, effective immediately, to VP and market manager for Beasley's Augusta cluster. Haddon was most recently NSM and digital sales manager for the cluster, as well as GSM for Country WKXC-FM (Kicks 99); he joined Beasley/Augusta in the latter post in 1993. Beasley EVP/Operations Brian Beasley says, "Our company strives to provide our employees with the tools they need to learn, to grow, and to succeed in their respective fields. We also attempt to promote from within the company, so today it brings us a special sense of accomplishment to announce Mark Haddon's advancement to vice president and market manager. He has worked diligently to earn his new title, and we believe he is ready for the responsibilities that come with it."
Haddon succeeds the departing Kent Dunn, who's headed up the cluster since 1993.
Dunn, who is stepping down to pursue other opportunities, says, "It has been my privilege to lead this fine cluster of radio stations since 1993. Our Beasley Broadcast Augusta team is a tight-knit family with deep roots in the community. Mark Haddon and I have worked together closely for many years, and I have every confidence that he will excel in his new role."
