Jack Harris Extends With WFLA Tampa Sep 24th 2015, 11:33 iHeartMedia has renewed Jack Harris' contract for another three years. For the past 22 years Harris has been hosting mornings on News Radio 970 WFLA in Tampa Bay. Harris has been in the Tampa Bay market for more than 45 years. He joined 970 WFLA in September of 1970 as the midday host and production director. After a brief stint in D.C., he returned to Tampa and spent two years on the Q-105, then onto WFLA-FM which became the Power Pig.

Cornish was born and raised in Louisville and has worked throughout Kentucky at WBVR, WLYE, and WFGE (now WFGS). He was most recently promotions director, music director, and APD for Country station WKDQ in Evansville.
