Automotive was the largest advertising category for the months of April, May and June, making up 13% of Emmis' revenue. However that category was down 7% for the quarter despite automotive having one of its best years in a decade. The wireless category made up 8% of Emmis' total revenue for the quarter and was up 58% for the quarter. Beverages and Financial Services were up in the quarter while entertainment, retail, healthcare and quick serve restaurants were down. Number of minutes sold was flat with average minute rates down 1%.
