Compass Radio of San Diego has owned San Diego rock station KPRI for 20 years. On Monday owners Jonathan Schwartz and Robert John Hughes announced they have sold the station to Educational Media Foundation. The price was not announced for the deal which is expected to close in mid-January. EMF, a company that specializes in adult contemporary Christian music, began programming KPRI Monday. As of late Monday the station was still playing rock music.
